Nicole is the founder of Screen Time Clinic, headquartered in San Diego, CA. It is her dream to create a global network of professionals dedicated to improving lives through mindful media management, empowering families and businesses to reach their ideal level of functioning through seminars, group courses, and personalized guidance focused on digital wellness priorities. A secondary school teacher beginning in 1998, Nicole holds bachelor’s degrees in education and economics and has taught in five different states. She was most recently featured on PBS for her literacy work with San Diego Unified in 2018. Nicole also earned an MBA from Rice University and has over 20 years of entrepreneurial experience. She is also the author of the children’s book Screen Smart Sam, written to help families with young children prevent screen-related problems before they begin. Dr. Andrew Chang serves as a Medical Advisor for Screen Time Clinic and is a trusted contributor to the Unplug & Thrive Radio podcast. With a background in preventive and functional medicine, Dr. Chang helps ensure that the educational guidance shared through Screen Time Clinic is safe, evidence-based, and aligned with current medical understanding. As a podcast co-host and contributor, Dr. Chang provides valuable insights on the impact of screen time, technology, stress, sleep, brain health, performance, and overall wellness for both youth and adults. His calm, science-backed perspective helps families and professionals better understand the connection between digital habits and long-term health outcomes. Dr. Chang plays an important role in supporting Screen Time Clinic’s mission to empower individuals and families to live healthier, more connected lives in the digital age.
Jessica is based in Central Utah and travels nationally to facilitate intensive wellness retreats and presentations for youth, parents, and young adults. She provides valuable insight with 1-1 working sessions and has been a vocal supporter of mindful technology initiatives since 2016. She has first hand experience with gaming disorders and detox programs as well as specializing in preventing online predators. Her services include presentations and coaching for adult and teen gaming addiction and teen mentoring. She also offers digital detox retreats with the Live Life Bigger Foundation. Jessica is trained to give guidance and school seminars about the benefits of living screen free with distraction free devices and limited access to the internet Jessica is a wealth of knowledge for families and groups looking for seminars on all different digital wellness topics. ]Erin is based in Zürich, Switzerland and holds a Masters of Science in Medicine in sexual health counseling from the University of Sydney. She has been an avid advocate and educator in the sexual wellness and education space for the past 9 years and is keenly aware of the spread of tech and screens into family homes throughout the pandemic creating toxic tech habits much of which around sexual content. She joins the Screen Time Clinic® family of certified educators specializing in Sexual Health and the Sexual Exploitation of Minors. Michael Jacobus lives near Orange County and is an internationally recognized author, child-development specialist and youth camp professional. He has an extensive background in youth services, including nonprofits, staff training, operations, administration and outdoor education. He is the author of two books for the camp community; The Camp Director’s Survival Guide and Insights & Inspirations which have helped many families and kids capture the magic of extended time away from home. In the summer of 2018, Michael started the world's first clinical summer camp program for teens and adolescents suffering from unhealthy screen-time and social-media overuse habits and gaming addiction. Melissa Baker is a multi-credentialed Certified Health Education Specialist, Digital Wellness Coach, and Writer who lives in Gainesville, FL. Along with teaching yoga, meditation, and fitness to kids and adults, she hosts health retreats and corporate wellness initiatives with a personal passion for digital wellness. In 2010 Melissa Baker\'s life changed when she had scoliosis surgery, where two titanium rods were placed aligning her spine. Carrie Perry lives in the Baltimore, Maryland area and is a Registered Nurse with over 20 years’ experience in the healthcare education industry. Carrie belongs to the first generation of adults experiencing the explosion of social media and struggling to understand the overall wellness impact of the digital world on themselves and their family. As digital overload affects the physical, spiritual, financial, intellectual, emotional, and social aspects. ]Dr. Dana the lives in San Diego, CA and is passionate about healthy childhood development, advising the STC team on best practices when it comes to developmental milestones and cognitive functioning and current neurodiversity practices. Dana has been a speech language pathologist since 2004. Dana graduated from SDSU and completed my clinical doctorate through RMUoHP in 2018. Along with experience working with a variety of disorders, her passion remains working with children and adults with social cognition and executive functioning challenges.
Dr. Young lives in Houston, Texas and is a wealth of knowledge, dedicating her time in the field of physical therapist with an affinity for holistic care. She obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and also holds a Master’s Degree in Human Performance & Recreation with emphasis in Exercise Science as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Tougaloo College,.
